KampalaGuards Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”) takes the privacy of our clients, prospects, and employees seriously. This policy describes what we collect, why we collect it, how long we retain it, and your rights.
What we collect
We collect personal information you provide to us through our quote forms, contact forms, job applications, and any other interaction. Categories of information typically include name, contact details (phone, email, postal address), company name and role, and the details of your enquiry or application.
Why we collect it
- To respond to enquiries and prepare proposals.
- To deliver contracted services.
- To assess job applications.
- To send the Quarterly Uganda Private-Sector Security Briefing (only with your explicit opt-in).
- To meet legal, regulatory, and audit obligations.
Third parties
We share information only with third parties strictly necessary to operate our business. These include our CRM provider, our email-sending provider, our analytics provider (cookieless), our cloud hosting provider, and our content management system. Each is bound by data protection terms.
Retention
- Quote requests: 24 months from last activity, then anonymised.
- Job applications: 12 months unless you consent to longer retention.
- Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
- Server logs: 30 days.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, and erase your personal information; to object to processing; and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact our Data Protection Officer at dpo@kampalaguards.com.
Cookies
We use a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics provider for traffic measurement. We do not set cookies for analytics or advertising. If we ever introduce a tracking pixel or marketing cookie, we will provide a consent banner.
